Nestled out from the majestic foothills of the Victorian Range on Western fringe of GARIWERD (THE GRAMPIANS) you will find the two Shacky cabins.
The site is part of a working farm and soon to be opened Brewery/Kitchen
This historic area is rich in early Indigenous Culture and more recent Pastoral Settlement as a nascent Fine Wool Producing area.
The Shacky’s look out towards the renowned “CHIMNEY POTS” SANDSTONE-MUDSTONE STACKS brimming with wildflowers for much of the year.
This is a Bushwalkers dream location.
Besides the GARIWERD, other district tourist attractions include Cavendish Settlers Walk, Historic Wool Capital/ Hamilton, and Budj Bim National Park.
The BUNYIP Hotel- Cavendish( 15minute drive) and the Royal Mail Hotel- Dunkeld (30 minute drive) both offer excellent dining experiences.
The Mooralla golf course, and Tennis courts are only 2 km’s.
The highly sought after Tourist attraction…Great Ocean Road is Two Hour drive.
