Despite the Challengers of the past years, we’d like to recognise how grateful we are that you have chosen to book a getaway with Shacky.
Our top priority is your safety, the guests after you, our hosts and the communities that we are part of.
This is why we take all the precautions to make sure your getaway is cleaned and sanitised as per Covid safety guidelines.
We make sure that our hosts use the right products and methods to clean and change over your booked accomodation in between each stay stays as well as staying informed on the developments regarding covid.
We also ask our guests to play they part and make sure they respect all Government guidelines.
We thank you in advance for being responsible, respectful and showing a pro-active attitude toward this endemic and our shared responsabilities to keep everyone safe.
2 Recommended steps for Guests
Please make sure to follow government guidelines if you or anyone in your party test positive to covid before or during your stay.
Additionally we recommend the following steps to keep everyone safe.
a) Remember to wear your mask when or if needed or requested by the authorities.
b) Sanities and clean your hands appropriately.
c) Practise Social Distancing.
d) Avoid travelling if you are feeling unwell and may test positive to covid.

4 Hosting Safety and standards
The safety of our Community is our most important priority.
Our hosts follow a strict protocol and safety guidelines when it comes to preparing your getaway. We request all hosts to commit to extended cleaning and safety protocols and request them to commit to our covid-19 safety practices, this way you can have peace of mind when you book a getaway with Shacky.
a) We recommend hosts to use appropriate cleaning chemicals , enhance cleaning of the property and all spaces as well as enhance cleaning of all linens provided during the stay.
b) Host are asked to clean all linen on longer cycles using appropriate chemicals for safety.
c) Host are asked to clean all surfaces, floors and other items with appropriate chemicals
Additionally we recommend the following steps to keep everyone safe.

e) Avoid travelling if you are at risk.
f) Make sure to follow the Government regulations in regards to Covid-19. Making sure you keen informed and respect the government guidelines.
Our hosts are also oblige to let us know if they have been exposed or are at any risk, in case our hosts are unable to host you due to Covid we will inform you as a guest and make sure we deal with your booking accordingly.
